(New York, NY - 8/10/09) – Trudy Miller presents “Diary of a Solutionista: Smarter Clothing Design” on Friday August 14, 2009, at Webster Hall’s Marlin Room (125 E 11th Street) at 10:00pm. The fashion showcase will feature tops and dresses from Miller’s transitional wardrobe system, worn by her diverse clientele. Pants, jeans and skirts with equally flattering fits by A Woman/Jesjade Collection will accompany Miller’s convertible garments. The event is sponsored by The Art of Fashion, Herbert Fox and McMullen Reps.

For many years, Trudy Miller had been waiting for a smarter approach to clothing design to take root. In her mind, clothing could be more simple, elegant, versatile, comfortable, and fun to wear. In 2006, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Trudy quit her teaching job at Parsons and took her desire to inspire from the classroom to the public, where she now collaborates with her clientele, local designers and manufacturers to expand her vision of smarter and more sustainable clothing options for the 21st Century. Today she is proud to introduce TRUDY MILLER LAYERS, a lifestyle solution that celebrates the joy of having it all in the tiniest package possible.
